As undocumented immigrants, many young people can be derailed from pursuing their dreams.  Tam Tran, an undocumented student, organizer, and documentary flmmaker, testified before Congress on her marginalized, liminal state as one such student.  She graduated from UCLA in 2006 where she was part of IDEAS, a support and advocacy group for undocumented students, and, with Prerna Lal, contributes Undocumented but Undaunted: Immigrant Youth at Work in the Nonprofit Sector to this issue of NPQ.  Read her testimony here, courtesy of the National Immigration Law Center.
