Ruth: A nice trick would be to recruit a few nonprofit management classes at the various universities to login and debate/comment on a particular article or issue as part of their course work. Maybe an author could even pose some kind of question for people to offer thoughts on, and then the author can come back after awhile and give his/her own thoughts on the issue. General comments are going to tend to be complementary, but a debate or some kind of competition might get the juices flowing.

I like the resign as well, especially the prominence of comments and interaction. I like Mark Hager's suggestion and would volunteer to try it out with a graduate nonprofit finance class that I am teaching for the next 8 weeks. The class uses online discussion already and it would be fun to have the discussion with a wider audience.

Since I'm here in the Indianapolis area and a graduate of the Fundraising School, I can tell you Mark's idea is a great one that would play out well on this level. Go for it.
