I agree with both of the previous comments. I believe that the ED should have gone as far as excluding the three new board members from voting. I also, feel that there was not adequate time to really make a good decision, even if ultimately it was a good decision. There seemed to be very little discussion about options. Also, it seemed to be such a speedy process not because all agreed, but rather because many were burned out. In such a situation it is almost beneficial to allow enough time for people to spend sometime away from the situation and then come back and reach a clearheaded conclusion. As far as what I would do in such a situation, I am unsure. My justice-seeking side would ask to be excluded from the vote. However, my don’t-rock-the-boat side probably would ask to receive more information before being asked to make a vote one way or another.
